Something was Missing...
As a gym girl myself, when I looked for gym accessories on the market, everything was all the same. Basic pink, blue, black, white, and no pattern or personality. For us alternative and vintage-inspired girls, there was nothing that ever stood out to me. So, I decided to make it myself!
My Story
I'm an 18-year-old gym girl who just graduated high school. I've been an artist my whole life and have won many awards for my artistic endeavors, including on the Congressional level. When talking about my future, I always got the same reaction when I told them I wanted to be an artist:
"Oh, that's nice... so how are you going to make money?"
Honestly, I didn't really know myself. I knew I wanted to do something that made me happy, and that is art, but it can be rough for artists trying to make a living. So, I'm giving this a shot and trying to provide beautiful, hand-designed gym accessories for the women like me!
While I love art, there are so many things about me: I love anything vintage, and from any era. The '90s and 2000s have always been my favorite, and the way I dress reflects that. I also greatly enjoy the beach and swimming in the ocean, it's truly my happy place! I'm also from the Midwest USA, not a big city, but in a small town surrounded by farmland. I think my brand has something many brands do not, and that is relatability.

The Process
When I am thinking of a new design, I like to think of patterns that were found on my clothing, toys, or in my bedroom as a young girl. I also think of restaurant booth patterns and Y2K wall art. Pinterest is one of my favorite places to look for inspiration. Once I find a pattern or design I like, I open up Krita and start drawing. I like to put my own twist on everything, and making different colorways is so exciting. The Mission
Instead of filling this with all the corporate lingo that most companies would, I want to keep this real. With my bags, I want to make the alternative girl feel beautiful and like she belongs in gym or dance class or pilates, etc. Instead of suppressing yourself with a basic, solid-colored bag, I want your bag to feel like YOU. I hope I achieved that through my designs!
